Some townhouses are located along the shoreline of Lake Bridgeport, offering tranquil days of fishing, or bring your own boat for more exciting days of waterskiing or sailing. “The Club” at Runaway Bay features the finest 18 hole golf course in the immediate area. You can also simply bask in the warmth of the abundant Texas sunshine at the swimming pool. The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is less than a 90 minute drive and Texas Motor Speedway is only an hour away.
The Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is 65 miles from the resort. From the airport, take the north exit 114 West to 287 North to Decatur/Bridgeport, Texas. Exit Highway 380 West to Bridgeport. Runaway Bay is about 7 miles West of Bridgeport.

From Hwy 380/114 in Runaway Bay, take exit 1-Runaway Bay Drive. There is a large rock wall at this exit and is across from OneStop Convenience Store. Travel 1.8 miles. Turn right at the Westwind sign onto Private Road 1509. (If you get to the traffic circle and water tower, you have gone too far.) The office is one block off Runaway Bay Drive.
